 e-Captain Match was played today and a big “Thank You” to the 84 mem
 bers who took part in the 4 Ball Texas Scramble.\nThe teams experienced 
 sunshine and hail on a cool but enjoyable morning to play golf.\nThe Res
 ult – yet another victory for the Captains Team who had an aggregate s
 core of 644 shots to beat the Vice Captains Team by only 6 shots.\nThere
  were some great scores – the lowest was a 58 from The Captain\, Graem
 e Millar\, Duncan Thompson\, Ian Tennant and John Thorpe and a 61 from t
 he Club Pro\, Adam Wills\, Stuart Steel\, Duncan Bell and Alistair Somer
 ville.\nSo the Captain wins again and retains Lukes Cup for another year
 .\nSuch a pity we could not have a drink and a bit food afterwards howev
 er I hope everyone enjoyed themselves and met some different members for
  the first time.\nThank you also to the members playing in the match who
  took the time to send me some pictures\, a selection can be seen below.
