DESCRIPTION:It was the last Mixed Stableford of the winter season today 
 and I can officially report that the winner was...Mother Nature! Not eve
 n the "Fab Four" (Stu\, Mic\, DJ and Doug) could handle what the old lad
 y had lined up for golfers this morning as they\, the only entrants\, ab
 andoned their bids for glory after four extremely windswept and rain-las
 hed holes.\n\nFortunately\, we have six months of fun\, competition and 
 sunshine ahead! Before that\, SGC would like to thank everyone who has t
 aken part in the Winter Stableford events. A "shout out" too for those m
 embers who have supported the Templar Bar by purchasing pints\, pies and
  pop. Thank you to the greenkeeping team for their sterling efforts in c
 hallenging conditions. Finally\, thanks to Derek Lauder for his IT input
  (and patience).\n\nHere comes the sun!!!
