The Golf Academy is open and available for practice, coaching and custom fitting to members and the public.
There are 4 covered bays available to members and the public, the other covered area is for the golf professionals use
The 10 grass tees area is now in play.
6 grass bays in front of and left of the SGGT fitting studios are for the professionals use only.
We have created temporary grass tees, front left of the Academy by the boundary fence (yellow markers) – please access this area by leaving the Academy and turning right then right again being careful at all times as there may be fittings going on at SGGT.
Scott Gourlay and his team of club fitters at SGGT are now fully operational and you can find out more about their services and contact them by clicking on the link above.
Club repairs and a re-gripping service is also available from Scott and his team

We are currently taking new memberships of the Academy which also includes full use of all the practice facilities, the 9 hole par 3 Templar Course, access to the Clubhouse & Brasserie and a 25% discount on range balls.

MERCHISTON CASTLE SCHOOL GOLF ACADEMY
We recently entered into an agreement with Merchiston Castle to host their Golf Academy
We have asked them not to use the covered bays if the weather is “fine” and to make use of the temporary grass tees and both Huxley artificial strips.
The boys will also use the other practice areas and Templar Course.
