19 teams competed in today’s Alan Skinner Texas Scramble Open. Despite extremely blustery conditions, the scoring was excellent with Paul Porter, Ross Angus, Nick Harrison and Roddy McBlane winning the trophy (and £100 each) thanks to a great nett 54. Many congratulations team! 3 teams shot nett 55 to share the second, third and fourth prizes; each player wins £50. Very well done to all of them too.
Thank you to everyone who played and thanks also to the numerous competitors (from home and away) who praised the quality of the course. These comments will be passed on to our greenkeeping team.
