JAMES ARCHIBALD 1942-2026
I am sorry to have to advise the members the sad news that an ex- long-time member of the Club has passed away.
Jimmy Archibald died on Thursday the 7th of May peacefully at home.
Jimmy suffered from dementia in the end and as a result we had not seen much of Jimmy the last few years.
He was a very active playing and social member having his name on most handicap trophies.
Jimmy was also one of the Brasserie’s best customers along with his wife Jane.
Our condolences go to Jane and the rest of Jimmy’s family and friends.
Jimmy’s funeral is at Mortonhall’s Pentland Chapel on Thursday the 28th of May at 10.30am
