On Friday the 6th of December, tragically Kevin collapsed and passed away on the 10th green.
Despite the efforts of the members playing with and behind Kevin, the greenkeepers, Sam in the Office, and the teams of paramedics who were on the scene very quickly Kevin sadly never regained consciousness.
Kevin worked with Lothian Region Transport and had been a member of Swanston and/or Glencorse the past 10 years or so.
He was only 58
The Club sends its condolences to his wife Clare, his daughter, Chloe and son, Jordan.
Clare, his wife called the Club this morning to advise us that Kevin’s funeral is on Saturday the 28th of December at 10.00am at Mortonhall to which everyone is invited who knew Kevin.
He will be sadly missed at Swanston by all his friends.
