Saturday the 6th of April is the beginning of the new golf season at Swanston.
The Club Captain v The Gents Captain match is our season opener when we will be playing for Luke’s Cup.
The match is a friendly Texas Scramble where all of the teams have been arranged in such a way as to make it as even as it can be.
There will be no handicaps.
The winning team will be the one with the lowest total score

We will be collecting, via a voluntary cash collection which we will send to a charity or fund-raising event.
This year the charity chosen is Prostate Cancer UK
The rules and arrangements are straightforward and will be explained on the day but just to confirm a few basics.
• Texas Scramble- every team plays off scratch.
• 4 person teams – min 3 drives each
• 3-person team – min 4 drives each
• Place on fairway & in rough both within a club length
• On green place within 3 inches
• The person whose ball is chosen must play first.
• Record the Gross Score for each hole and the initials of whose drive is used must be recorded on the card.
• Completed cards to be handed into the Shop immediately on completion of round.
• Food will be provided in the Brasserie on completion of your round.
