The sky was blue, the greens were true. 44 happy golfers – young ladies and elderly gents – took part in the 2019 JANICE SUTHERLAND TROPHY Texas Scramble. Scores were tight, with two teams hitting par rounds and all others close behind. The Seniors Captain’s Team sneaked a victory over the Lady Captain’s Team. And with an 0.5-stroke victory, Kay Cuthbertson, Stewart Laird, Jack Bonthrone & George McGee proved to be the best four-some.
£237 was raised for the Oxgangs Care Dementia Group.
Well done to all golfers and to Stewart Kerr for his usual immaculate organisation.
